Mission:
Our mission at the Wetmore Academic Center is to expect and assist all students to develop the skills necessary to make positive contributions to society.
Elementary Goals:
By May 2012, when given the Kansas State Reading Assessment, 91.9% of student population will score at or above the “meets standard” level.
By May 2012, when given the Kansas State Math Assessment, 91.1% of student population will score at or above the “meets standard” level.
High School Goals:
By May 2012, when given the Kansas State Reading Assessment, 90.7% of student population will score at or above the “meets standard” level.
By May 2012, when given the Kansas State Math Assessment, 88.2% of student population will score at or above the “meets standard” level.
This past school year 2010-11 Wetmore Elementary and High School met AYP ( annual yearly progress) as required by the NO Child Left Behind education act.
Preliminary results indicate that Wetmore Elementary met the Standard of Excellence in both Reading and Math.
Preliminary results indicate that Wetmore High School met the Standard of Excellence in Mathematics.
