4th Graders End Year by Producing Movies
Fourth grade students at Sabetha Elementary School ended the school year by trying their hand at movie production using the Puppet Pals app on the set of 6 district-owned iPads. Under the direction of 4th grade language arts teacher Mrs. Karen Aeschliman, fourth graders created puppet characters and settings to go along with four different Readers Theater scripts they had been working on as part of a unit on Fairy Tales. Utilizing the iPad's built in video and audio recording tools, the students shot pictures of their puppets, props and scenery, then recorded the narration to go along with each production.
