Sportsmanship
Dear Families and Fans,
The Kansas State High School Activities Association notes the following, “Sportsmanship is an expectation. Let the players play, let the coaches coach, let the officials officiate, and let the spectators be positive!”
Sabetha High School goes to great lengths to guide our young people in a positive and respectful direction; specifically in regard to integrity and sportsmanship. As spectators, you are held to the same expectation. We ask that you view all events as opportunities to enjoy, encourage, and appreciate the efforts of our young people. You are models, and your words and actions can leave a lasting positive impact. The opposite is equally true. Booing, cursing, rude/profane comments or gestures, and directed verbal attacks toward officials, fans, or players take away from the event and will not be tolerated. Negative reactions adversely impact the positive culture Sabetha High School strives to instill, and we appreciate your continued efforts to promote the success of our students.
