Mrs. Sextro's Bio

About Mrs. Sextro:

I teach grades 7-12 English and Language Arts.  I started my teaching career in Bern in 2008.  I graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Education the same year.  I enjoy spending time with my husband Ryan, my daughter Sydney, and our families. 

Favorite Subjects:

My favorite subjects when I was in school were Literature and History.  The two subjects are connected, and now that I am an English teacher I really get to teach both.

Favorite thing about working at Bern School:   

Bern has a great staff, good students, and a very supportive community.  

Advice for the Student Body:
