Mrs. Walker teaches Family and Consumer Sciences classes. Her classes include Introduction to Human Services, Family Studies, Human Growth and Development, Consumer Education, Nutrition & Wellness, and Career & Community Connections. These classes are taught to both Bern and Axtell students through polycom. Mrs. Walker also serves as the Academic Advisor for Bern.
In addition to her teaching duties, Mrs. Walker is the sponsor of FCCLA and the assistant track coach.
Mrs. Walker graduated from Baker University where she received her Bachelor’s of Science. She received her Master’s degree from Emporia State University.
Mrs. Walker is married to Steve Walker and they have two children: Tim, a junior at Southwest Baptist University, and Mary, a freshman at John Brown University.
