USD 113 Retirement Reception

USD 113 hosted Retirement Receptions for long time teachers in the district.  Marlene Geyser has taught Special Education at Sabetha High School since 1991. Her reception was held May 9, 2018 at the Sabetha Middle School.  Joyce Stallbaumer has taught 4th and 2nd grade at the Wetmore Academic Center since 1987. Her reception was held May 9, 2018 at Wetmore.  Both teacher's will be missed . . .

Making A Difference

On June 2, 2017, I attended the funeral for my second cousin, Elaine. I don’t have many relatives who are or have been teachers. Elaine was one of them. She was a non-traditional student when non-traditional students were almost non-existent.
