Adam Aadalen is the Choir Director at Sabetha Middle School and High School. Included in these courses are 6th-8th grade mixed choirs at SMS as well as Infinity, Odyssey and Concert Choir at SHS. Infinity and Odyssey are both auditioned choirs that do all genres of music. These two groups perform around the community throughout the year and put on a variety show at the end of January. In the fall, both groups perform at the Peru Contemporary Choral Festival, and in the spring, they participate in KSHSAA Regional and State competitions. In addition to his teaching duties, Mr. A co-directs the high school musical and is an assistant high school basketball coach.

Mr. A is a native Kansan from Topeka. He attended Kansas State University for one year and performed in the K-State Singers. After that, he transferred to Washburn University where he received his Bachelor of Music Education degree with highest honors. He then went on to substitute teach, spending nearly a year teaching 5th-12th Vocal Music programs in Northeast Kansas. He is an active member of NAfME and participates in different workshop programs such as KMEA. In May 2015, he received his Master of Music Education degree in Choral Music from Wichita State University. Before coming to Sabetha, Mr. A taught at Butler Community College where he directed the Butler Ladies, an approximately 20 voice all female show choir, and the Noteables, the female barbershop quartet.

Mr. A is married to his wonderful wife, Kelsey, and has three amazing children, Benton, Anders, and Cecilia
