Mrs. Burger grew up in Sabetha and graduated from Sabetha High School.  She earned her B.S in Elementary Education from Kansas State University with endorsements in Science, Social Studies, and Health, and earned her M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of St. Mary.  She previously taught 4^th grade at Sts. Peter and Paul, and for the past 11 years has taught 5^th grade Science and Social Studies at Everest Middle School.

Mrs. Burger has been married to her husband Scott since 1989.  They have four children: Josh (wife Jenny), Jason (wife Brooke), Jenna, and Jesse. 

Mrs. Burger enjoys spending time with family, attending school events, cooking, reading, and traveling.
