I graduated from Marysville High School in 2004 and attended Kansas State University, where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. After I graduated in 2009 I took a job as a paraeducator and substitute teacher at Summerfield. I had that job for 2 years before I began teaching 5th grade. I enjoy teaching very much and it is an honor for me to work with children and to see them learn and grow.
In my free time I love reading, being outside, going for walks, and spending time with my family. I've also been known to help out on the family farm now and then.
