SHS art students headed to Effingham, KS for the Big 7 League Art Contest this year.  The event was held May 14 and hosted by ACCHS.  Each school in the league brought 60 art entries.  Eight schools participated this year. The show was juried by two art instructors from Benedictine College in Atchison, KS.  Sabetha’s artists had a strong appearance at the contest.  Of the 60 entries,  47 received awards.  Two Best of Show awards are given and one of those went to Lindsay Meyer for her charcoal drawing.   The following are winners from SHS.
