Professional Biography:
Amy Mueting is a special education teacher at Sabetha Elementary. Her career goal is to help children with disabilities understand and appreciate their personal strengths. She has worked with children from levels PreK-12 for the past 32 years, and is looking forward to working with elementary students through Holton Special Education Cooperative.
Amy earned her B.S. in Special Education and Psychology through Emporia State University, and earned her graduate degrees from Kansas State University in the area of Special Education.
Amy is married to Ray Mueting, Axtell, KS. They have raised 3 children. Ray works for USDA as a Loan Officer for the Farm Service Agency, Seneca and farms in his spare time. Their son Kyle is married, has two daughters, and is a Loan Officer at First Commerce Bank, Marysville. Her second son, Derek, is a Loan Officer for Community National Bank, Seneca. Dani, their daughter, works for the NHL, in the fall and winter.
