Mr. Wertenberger's Biography
Jobi Wertenberger began teaching 4th grade at Sabetha Elementary School in 2020. He is a 1999 graduate of Sabetha High School. He received his Bachelor’s degree in 2003 from Tabor College in Elementary Education and his Master’s degree in 2007 from Wichita State University in Curriculum and Instruction. Mr. Wertenberger began his career at El Dorado teaching 4th grade and 6th grade math for 9 years. Moving to Sabetha in 2013, he then taught at Everest Middle School for 7 years.
Jobi has two children Kyson and Tynlee. He loves to watch and cheer them on playing sports and loves to go camping with them. They are always up for an adventure!
Mr. Wertenberger is excited about coming back home to teach where he had so many great memories as a kid growing up. A few things he likes to do is going fishing in the summer and if time allows to hunt in the fall.
