Computer Applications
This class is designed to teach students basic computer skills that will provide a good foundation to live and work in the information age. Students are provided with and expected to achieve an understanding of computer functions performed for business and personal uses, and at the same time develop a level of competency necessary to apply these skills in a work setting. The students will be introduced to operating systems, the Internet, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation, photo, and video software. The Microsoft Office software will be used (Word, Excel, Access, & PowerPoint) along with Photoshop and other software if time.
