Lisa Broxterman is the social studies instructor at Axtell Public School. She has been in education for over 25 years. She teaches American Government, American History, World History, 7^th Grade social studies, and 8^th grade social studies. Mrs. Broxterman also teaches College English I and II and Public Speaking concurrently through Highland Community College.

Prior to teaching social studies, Mrs. Broxterman taught English I, English II, English III, English IV, Advanced Composition, College English I and II, Public Speaking, 7th grade language arts, and 8th grade language arts.

Mrs. Broxterman’s professional endorsements are English 5-12 and History, Government, and Social Studies 6-12. She is highly qualified in speech communication.

In addition to her junior high-senior high teaching duties, Mrs. Broxterman is an adjunct instructor for Highland Community College in the Axtell, Frankfort, Baileyville, and Marysville communities.

Mrs. Broxterman attended Highland Community College after high school graduation. Her bachelor's and master's degrees were earned from Kansas State University.

Mrs. Broxterman enjoys spending time with her husband, her five children, and her three grandchildren. Her hobbies are watching sports, playing the piano, reading, and knitting.
