Christa Schuette grew up in Netawaka, Kansas. She attended Jackson Heights schools and graduated in 1991. After high school, Christa attended Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas. While at Bethany, she played basketball, ran indoor and outdoor track, and was on the Blue and Gold Dance Team. After college, Christa moved to Sabetha to teach special education. She married Shane Schuette in 1997, and they have three grown daughters; Taryn, Kinley, and Morgan, along with three sons-in-law, Wade, Kolby, and Bryce. Additionally, she has two grandchildren, Ky and Landry. Christa's hobbies are attending sporting events (especially K-State) and spending time outdoors. Additionally, Christa coaches track and field at Sabetha High School.
