Sarah Hay brings creativity to life for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade across the Sabetha school district. Mornings are spent inspiring middle school artists, while afternoons are filled with the imagination of elementary students just beginning their artistic journeys. A 2001 graduate of Beatrice High School in Beatrice, Nebraska, Sarah has built her career around a passion for art and education. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Art Education from Peru State College in 2006, the same year she began teaching in Sabetha. Nearly two decades later, she continues to grow as an educator, recently completing her Master’s degree in Art Education from Eastern Illinois University in 2025. Since joining the district in the fall of 2006, Sarah has been dedicated to helping students explore their creativity, develop confidence, and express themselves through art.
