Professional Biography:

Mr.Chanay teaches physics, chemistry and physical sciences at SHS. Teaching at SHS is his first teaching job. 

Mr. Chanay grew up in western Kansas, and moved to Holton Kansas in 2012, where he graduated from Holton high school in 2018. Mr. Chanay then graduated from Washburn University in 2022, with a degree in Environmental Biology. Mr. Chanay and his wife Paige Chanay got married on July 2nd, 2022. Mrs. Chanay attends Peru State College and Majors in Biochemistry, and is also on the volleyball team at Peru State College. 

In his free time Mr. Chanay enjoys being outdoors, tracking turtles, wildlife photography, video games, spending time with family and watching his wife play volleyball. 

Mr.Chanay is excited to be teaching at Sabetha High School!
