Mrs. Miller is originally from Hiawatha, KS where she graduated high school. She was previously a preschool assistant teacher at the Hiawatha Head Start location. This position inspired her to complete a degree in Elementary Education. She moved to Onaga, KS in 2021 where she resides with her husband and children and completed her teaching degree with Fort Hays State University. During her college experience, she completed observations, internships, and student teaching experiences with grade levels ranging from 3rd-6th in Onaga, KS. She has a love of learning and will always be looking for learning opportunities. Her ideal classroom environment is calming and positive. She believes that one of the most important factors of a classroom is that there are positive relationships between teachers, students, and families. Mrs. Miller has a total of 6 children that she shares with her husband (Jesse, Jazmine, Alexandrya, Sally, Owen, Grant). She loves decorating for holidays, learning about history, and going to her children’s activities.
